The constructed pool was built with a topographic profile midway between the profiles of two of the reference pools. It was also sized to be midway in size in comparison to the two reference pools. The diagrams below illustrate the shape and depth of the pools, along with the deepest water depth recorded in each pool over the period between April 2006 and the end of December 2010.
